This actually aired on radio stations across Canada in the early 1980s as part of a segment on a syndicated documentary show called "Sunday Sunday." The story was about then-current marijuana laws and what might happen on local radio stations if the drug was ever legalized. The latter came true in the country, but so far, these kinds of ads have never turned up on the air anywhere. The fake station involved was called "C-HIT 109," on the high end of your dial. The commercial voice is the great John Wilson, while disc jockey "Ron Roach" is rock jock Bob Saint.
